At the Quality Inn & Suites Halifax, we understand you may not want to travel without Fido or Fluffy. We assure you, we are delighted to have your and your four-legged family members as our guests.

Be sure to tell us at the time of your booking that you will be bringing your pet along, along with your pet’s name. After all, we believe all our guests deserve personalized service.

Since we want you, and your fellow guests at the Quality Inn & Suites Halifax, to have a safe and comfortable stay, we ask that you carefully review the following guidelines:

• We love critters but ask that you do not bring your exotic pet, as we cannot accept such pets.
• Please do not leave your pet in your room unattended.
• Please bring along a supply of bags to clean up after your pet.
• Please keep your pet on a leash at all times in, or on, hotel property, with the exception of your room.
• Please do not bring your pet into the restaurant and pool areas, with the exception of licensed service dogs.
• Please ensure any disturbances, such as barking, your pet may make is curtailed as soon as possible.
• Please arrange with the front desk a convenient time when you and your pet will be out of the room, so that our housekeeping staff can service your room.
• Please be aware that you will be charged for the full cost of any damages, extraordinary cleaning or loss of revenue which may be caused by your pet, as determined by the hotel’s Manager or Duty at the time.

Our friendly staff at Guest Services would be pleased to provide you with information about “quick break” fire hydrants in the area, as well as walking trails for your dog, where to buy pet supplies or where you can receive veterinary care during your stay.

And remember, when traveling with your pet, it’s always a good idea to bring along extra towels, identification tags, as well as all health and vaccination records. Just in case.
